Black In-House Counsel is the premier source of information and engagement for Black attorneys across the legal industry. The mission of Black In-House Counsel (BIHC) is to increase awareness of Black attorneys in Fortune 500 legal departments and AmLaw 100 law firms. Through events, publications, digital networks, career development programs, and hands-on events, BIHC is helping to forge a new path for Black attorneys at law firms and in-house legal departments.
The Elevating Black Excellence Regional Summit Series will showcase the talents of Black partners* before an audience of influential in-house counsel. This one-day event, conducted exclusively over a virtual platform, will include insight from partners in specialties across the legal spectrum.
Sessions will spotlight Black partners with expertise across across seven practice areas: M&A; Litigation; Compliance & Investigations; Privacy & Data Protection; Intellectual Property; Energy Policy; Hot Topics; and Labor & Employment.
Session topics include: General Counsel Perspectives; Antitrust; Class Action Trends; Whistleblower Investigations; Crisis Management; LGBTQ+; Energy Policy & Climate Change; Patent Litigation Trends; and more.
All numbered sessions are CLE eligible. Each one-hour session throughout the day will be moderated by an in-house counsel and feature three Black partners from nationally-ranked law firms.
